Lu Yuxiao and (Tan Jian Ci|Tan Jianci}'s 'Dancing with the Tide' starts filming

Upcoming Chinese historical drama Dancing with the Tide, starring Lu Yu Xiao and Tan Jian Ci, has begun filming.

The historical C-drama Dancing with the Tide has kicked off filming and unveiled its main cast lineup. The series is based on novel of the same Chinese title by Xian Yu Ke.

The story is unfolds against the backdrop of Lidu Prefecture, where enemy forces press in from the outside, while hidden spies surge in secrecy within. As the dynasty edges toward collapse, Xie Que Shan — labeled a traitor — hunts Nan Yi, who has accidentally stolen a secret letter.

In order to maintain control, Xie Que Shan keeps Nan Yi within the Xie residence — only for her to accidentally uncover the secrets hidden beneath the “mask.”

Xie Que Shan is a general who walks into shadow, protecting his country with courage while shouldering the weight of misunderstandings and walking alone.

Li Meng appears as a special guest lead, Ye Zu Xin joins in a surprise appearance, He Qiu takes on a special starring role, Chen Shu makes a special appearance, Wang Jin Song appears as a specially invited guest, Zhou Cheng Ao joins as a specially invited starring actor, and Zheng Ye Cheng makes a cameo appearance.
